Responsibilities Work with the SST/FO Program Executive and other program personnel. Provide recommendations to tailor NASA R&D program and project management requirements to reduce time to flight with an appropriate risk profile. Coordinate with senior NASA personnel at centers and headquarters to build consensus on tailored requirements. Systematically identify, recommend, and execute improvements to program policies and processes. Areas for improvement may include, but are not limited to: Technology project acquisition Program and project performance management Design and conduct pilot studies/impact evaluations, as needed Document program processes and policies Support strategy, management, and integration operations Qualifications Space flight project or program management experience. Experience with risk‑tolerant or iterative approaches to space technology R&D and demonstration. Familiarity with common SST mission elements, such as spectrum licensing, orbital debris assessments, and launch safety documentation. Master’s degree in a relevant field. 18 years of relevant work experience.
