Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Security Architect - Remote position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 4 month contract opportunity.

This role involves designing and implementing data security controls across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in data discovery, DLP, and encryption for structured and unstructured data in cloud and hybrid environments, working closely with various global teams.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate security tooling and define target-state architectures
• Support automation initiatives and lead enterprise-wide technology implementations
• Manage data security architecture, including data discovery, classification, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption, and key management
• Collaborate with Security Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, and regional security teams in a global environment

Requirements:

• Senior-level (10 years) experience in data security architecture
• Strong experience with Databricks, Oracle, SQL, and enterprise data platforms
• Experience with data architecture, data integration, analytics, and security controls for structured and unstructured data
• Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments, security architecture frameworks, regulatory requirements, and data protection technologies
• Proven experience with access governance, monitoring, and recovery controls
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Pay range up to: $89.21 per hour
