Property Controller / VP of Finance (#3573020)

A fast-growing, entrepreneurial real estate investment and operating firm is seeking a Property Controller / VP of Finance to join its finance leadership team. The firm owns and operates a diverse portfolio across multifamily, residential, and commercial assets and is experiencing significant growth. This individual will oversee property-level accounting and financial reporting across the portfolio, partnering closely with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and scalable processes as the platform continues to expand. Key Responsibilities Oversee property accounting and financial reporting across a diversified real estate portfolio Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for property entities Review and analyze property-level financial statements, operating results, and variances Ensure accuracy and timeliness of internal and external reporting Partner with asset management and operations teams to support financial performance and decision-making Help develop and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure as the company scales Manage and mentor accounting staff and coordinate with external auditors and service providers as needed Qualifications 8+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate or property accounting Strong experience with multifamily and/or commercial real estate portfolios Prior leadership experience overseeing accounting teams and reporting processes Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial reporting expertise CPA preferred Full-time in-office role with some flexibility Entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with significant growth opportunity Compensation $160,000-$200,000 base + 10-20% discretionary bonus (based on experience) #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Company
