You'll contribute to projects from concept through construction while building strong client relationships, expanding your technical expertise, and growing your leadership capabilities.Whether you're looking to deepen your design experience, take on greater project ownership, or collaborate on impactful community-focused developments, this role offers an exciting next step in your career.What You'll DoAs a key member of the design team, you'll be involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, helping transform ideas into successful built environments.Project & Design LeadershipLead the preparation and coordination of landscape architecture drawings through all phases of project delivery.Collaborate with architects, planners, and multidisciplinary design teams to develop creative and effective design solutions.Participate in design charrettes, visioning sessions, public outreach initiatives, and collaborative workshops.Create and deliver engaging design presentations for clients, review boards, and project stakeholders.Project Management & Client EngagementAssist in developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and contractors on larger, more complex projects.Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, interviews, and client presentations.Travel periodically to support project and client needs.Technical & Construction SupportResearch and select materials and products that align with project goals and design intent.Prepare technical documentation and specifications.Review shop drawings and construction-related documents.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and help ensure successful implementation of design intent.Team DevelopmentProvide guidance and support to project team members.Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional growth.Participate in recruiting and interviewing efforts as needed.What You'll BringBachelor's and/or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture preferred.2+ years of experience in a professional design environment.Strong design sensibility with excellent graphic presentation and visual communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and rendering/graphics software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Rhino and other modeling or parametric design tools.Exposure to multifamily, mixed-use, urban, or community-oriented development projects.A genuine interest in mentorship, collaboration, and continuous professional growth.Why This Opportunity Stands OutJoin a firm experiencing strong growth and expanding project opportunities.Help shape neighborhoods, residential communities, and urban environments that have a lasting impact.Work closely with architects, planners, and designers in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.Gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across domestic and international markets.Take on meaningful responsibilities with opportunities to build leadership and client-facing experience.Be part of a culture that values creativity, teamwork, mentorship, and professional development.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in the firm's new Raleigh office near Glenwood Avenue and Hillsborough Street.
