Flight Paramedic Or Flight NurseRegional West Health Services is an independent, integrated health care delivery system based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We are actively looking for an individual to assist the team as a Flight Paramedic OR Flight Nurse for our Air Link team.As an RWHS Flight Nurse or Paramedic, you will:Deliver care to critically ill or injured patients during transport, primarily by aircraftPerform patient assessment and evaluation using accepted procedures and equipment to treat life threatening, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent medical and traumatic patient complaintsPerform interventions based on assessment findings, following patient care protocols, and Air Link protocols in cooperation with another medical crew member, the medical directors, and the monitoring physicianYou may be a good fit if you have:Graduated from an accredited school of nursing or paramedic program with NRP requiredIf RN Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and CFRN preferredIf Paramedic FP-C preferredParamedics must be licensed in NE, WY, CO, KS and SD (WY, CO, KS, SD can be obtained after hire)BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications requiredTPATC provider (or ATLS audit) preferredAdvanced certification (CFRN or CTRN) is required for nurses who have been employed for more than 2 yearsFlight Paramedic Certified (FP-C) is required for nurses who have been employed for more than 2 yearsThree years of demonstrated clinical experience as a critical care and/or emergency nurse OR three years of demonstrated clinical experience as a ground critical care paramedicFlight experience preferredPre-hospital transport suggestedA conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks.
