Frisco Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is actively seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician to join our high-performing service department. Diesel engine certification and CDJR experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered vehicles
• Perform inspections, testing, and repairs using factory diagnostic equipment
• Repair engines, transmissions, drivetrains, fuel systems, brake systems, HVAC, suspension, steering, and electrical components
• Complete repair orders efficiently and according to manufacturer standards
• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors
• Participate in manufacturer training to stay current with new technologies
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and provide quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive or diesel technician experience required
• CDJR dealership experience preferred
• Diesel Engine Certification preferred
• ASE Certification or automotive technical school training preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engine diagnostics and repair
• Experience with powertrain, electrical, HVAC, suspension, steering, brake, fuel, and emissions systems
• Working knowledge of diagnostic equipment, lifts, alignment equipment, and shop tools
• Must provide basic technician tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license required
