About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Technical Architect – AI to drive the end‑to‑end architecture and technical leadership for Fixtra’s innovative AI‑driven Wizard platform. This is a mission‑critical, AI‑native position within our Products team, ideal for a hands‑on architect who excels at combining deep engineering expertise, modern product thinking, and a relentless pursuit of quality. As the technical authority, you will shape Fixtra’s direction in AI integrations (LLMs, Vector DBs, automation), design secure cloud‑native systems, and lead a collaborative team through rapid prototyping and enterprise‑grade deployments. Your role blends system architecture, leadership, hands‑on coding, and strategic influence, ensuring Fixtra’s platforms set a new standard for intelligent, scalable, and user‑obsessed SaaS solutions. Key Responsibilities Architect, design, and implement scalable, multi‑tenant cloud‑native systems using microservices and robust APIs. Lead technical decision‑making for AI/ML integration, including LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack). Develop and review code in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js, React/Next.js) and Python for both web and AI‑driven backend services. Select and configure storage and retrieval solutions, including relational (PostgreSQL) and vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS). Champion CI/CD practices—design, automate, and optimize pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes for highly reliable deployments. Guide infrastructure decisions for AWS, GCP, or Azure, ensuring environments are secure, resilient, and cost‑efficient. Embed automation and integration best practices through tools such as n8n, Apache Airflow, and workflow orchestration. Mentor, lead, and inspire engineers—drive code quality, establish standards, and foster an environment of continuous learning and experimentation. Own technical roadmaps, align architecture with product vision, and translate business needs into sound engineering solutions. Work closely with product owners and AI engineers to deliver rapid iterations, MVPs, and user‑centered features. Integrate AI‑driven development aids (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, AI QA tools) to accelerate delivery and boost productivity. Promote an AI‑first, automation‑minded approach, ensuring product security, scalability, and maintainability. Requirements 10+ years’ experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years delivering advanced AI/ML‑enabled SaaS platforms. Expert proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js, React/Next.js), Python, and modern API development. Deep mastery of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform). Hands‑on experience integrating and deploying LLM‑based services (OpenAI, Anthropic APIs), AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), and workflow automation (n8n, Airflow). Proven track record architecting, building, and scaling multi‑tenant SaaS applications, including database design (PostgreSQL, Redis, vector DBs). Advanced knowledge of CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks for web and AI/ML systems. Established leadership skills—mentoring/leading teams, conducting code reviews, and promoting agile development best practices. Deep understanding of secure, reliable, and regulated environments—financial or enterprise sector experience is a plus. Fluent English communication (written & spoken) with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences. Demonstrated product mindset: translating end‑user needs and business goals into technical architecture and delivery priorities. Obsessive about automation, AI development aids (Copilot, ChatGPT), and continuous process improvement. Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills, with the agility to adapt in a fast‑paced, iterative environment.
