Handling extensive personal and confidential client information is an essential job function of this position. Major duties include those related to the tracking and coordination with psychiatrists to ensure accuracy of psychiatry paperwork for EMR and DMH purposes. Collaboration with the Psychiatry Services Coordinator is essential. Duties also include general office functions such as mail, posting information, arranging food for in-services or meetings, managing meeting rooms, keeping the lobby presentable to the public, maintaining correct phone extension lists, managing visiting workmen, keeping fax machines and copy machines in good repair, and forwarding important information via intercompany mail. Assisting as back-up to Receptionist, Medical Records staff, and Center Coordinators as needed, including researching data errors and MediCal eligibility determination.
