Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA Village Park Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor !

Location: 51230 Eisenhower Dr, La Quinta, CA 92253

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time

Salary: $ 26 - 32 / hour , dependent on education, experience, credentials, location, nature of practice, schedule, and additional responsibilities.

Supervisory duties:

• Team training, development and support

• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs

• Record keeping

• Facility maintenance

Veterinary Technician Skills:

• Physical examinations and patient assessment

• Anesthesia monitoring / Surgical preparation and assisting / Patient recovery

• Dentistry

• Radiology

• Laboratory work

• Venipuncture / Catheter placement

• Pharmacy

• Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals

• Diagnostic Imaging

• Client education and communication
