Sr. Network Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Network Architect for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX (Hybrid). This role will lead to the design and execution of complex network architecture solutions while driving modernization across hybrid enterprise environments.


Rate Range: $65/hour to $71/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Sr. Network Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex enterprise Cisco network solutions, with a focus on LAN, Wireless, and network transformation initiatives.
• Develop scalable and secure network architectures that support business growth, operational efficiency, and hybrid work environments.
• Provide technical leadership for enterprise-wide networking projects, including planning, deployment, migration, and optimization activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements, evaluate technologies, and deliver innovative networking solutions.
• Ensure network performance, reliability, and security by establishing architecture standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Support and enhance wireless and cellular connectivity strategies, troubleshooting complex issues and driving continuous network improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network architecture, engineering, and infrastructure transformation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless technologies, and enterprise networking solutions.
• Proven experience designing and leading large-scale enterprise network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $71.00 per hour
