Position Summary The Receiving Associate is responsible for maintaining a safe and organized dock area while receiving and unloading shipments and donations in a manner that reflects Christlike service. This role requires a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and care for others, with an emphasis on ensuring a positive and respectful experience for both donors and team members. The Receiving Associate may also be tasked with inspecting incoming donation quality, keeping donation inventory organized, and adhering to company policies and store standards. In all actions, the Receiving Associate is called to serve with kindness, efficiency, and a spirit of gratitude, ensuring that the work environment is one that honors Christ and upholds Hillcrest’s mission of service and community. Key Responsibilities Ensure overall standard dock maintenance, maintaining a clean and organized environment free of any debris. Transfer donations from the dock safely and efficiently, securing and handling unloading set‑up. Receive and prepare the intake and movement of donations. Complete proper opening and closing of parking lot barriers. Ensure Blue Bag pick‑up schedule is completed. Assure security and location of Box Truck. Provide a welcoming and grateful reception to donors when unloading. Empty trash receptacles throughout the inside and outside of the shop daily. Maintain storage pods, stacking safely and audit them periodically. Team Collaboration Work closely with other team members and volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of dock activities. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain organization and efficiency. Part‑time and full‑time opportunities. Mon‑Sat. No late evenings. No Sundays.
