Product Service Support Technician

$24.00 per hourWe are seeking Product Service Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Livermore, CA! This position is responsible for supporting and facilitating the day-to-day care of animals in the assigned facility. Product Service Support Technicians are primarily tasked with preparing, presenting, and maintaining products and services that facilitate animal care and breeding. The person in this role will need to feel passionate about working with animals, enjoy and excel at organization, and support and maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment. We are seeking someone that is hardworking, shows attention to detail, takes initiative, has a teamwork mentality and positive attitude.As part of this role, the Product Service Support Technician will contribute to the team by:Shipping and receiving duties including stocking and re-stocking supplies, feed, bedding, etc.Operate washing and sterilization equipmentKeep complete and detailed recordsMaintain work area in an organized, clean, and safe conditionAssembly of animal shipping boxesStock and handle chemicals with careOther duties as assignedTo be successful in this role, this position requires the Product Service Support Technician brings:Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and efficientlyAccurately calculate and record numbersGood teamwork skillsAble to work in a confined environmentWork in a standing position that will require bending and stretching of arms and legs throughout regular work shiftAble to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Ability to communicate effectively both written and verballyAbility to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditionsAbility to operate autoclave and cage washing equipmentAbility to pass a pulmonary fit test*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.
