Clinical Lab Scientist - High-Acuity Hospital Diagnostics

Overview Hospital Laboratory Clinical Lab Scientist – Central California. We are seeking a clinical laboratory scientist for a full-service hospital laboratory in Central California. The role involves providing rapid, accurate diagnostics across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank services for emergency, surgical, maternal-child, and inpatient care. Responsibilities Perform laboratory tests and analyses in all major areas including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank. Ensure rapid turnaround times, precise quality control, and dependable patient results in a high‑acuity, high‑touch setting. Report to the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Director and collaborate closely with the Medical Director/Pathologist for complex case review. Work with laboratory staff including MLTs, phlebotomy professionals, nurses, and other clinical teams to advance safe and efficient patient‑centered care.
