ARN - Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview: Join a dedicated surgical services team as a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse working day shifts in a vibrant regional healthcare setting in the Southeastern United States. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to identify care needs and organize appropriate interventions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the operating room environment.

• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing nursing activities and staff coordination.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor quality of care using outcome-based indicators.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Adapt care to meet age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or North Carolina.
• No prior work experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements:

Licenses and Certifications:
