Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Level II Trauma Center
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3, delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout each shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment and disposition
• Adhere to facility dress code and department-specific protocols and policies
• Participate in required holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (hard requirement)
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Current NIHSS and TNCC certifications
• Availability to work weekends (6 weekends per 6-week schedule)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care facility or Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and scheduling flexibility
