General Maintenance Technician
Location: Silsbee, Texas 77656
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
ASAP Personnel is seeking a qualified General Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities while delivering exceptional service, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Complete work orders independently and efficiently.
Repair appliances, fixtures, and building components.
Perform basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting.
Perform electrical repairs and maintenance.
Inspect building systems and identify maintenance needs.
Conduct preventive maintenance on property equipment and systems.
Maintain common areas and community grounds.
Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects.
Document completed repairs and maintenance activities.
Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license where applicable.
Must have basic maintenance tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Apartment industry experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, or MRI is a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
