JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

* Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.

* Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

* Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.

* Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed;

* Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be a US Citizen

* Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

* Associates of Engineering or applicable Associates Science Degree OR

* Airframe Power plant Cert OR

* 4 years of relevant work experience

* Previous experience in Fabrication role

* A completed and passed eye examination is required for this role.

* Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process. .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Preferred IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 Certifications

* Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication.

* Preferred experience with J-STD-001 or IPC 620 certification

* Experience with Hand Held Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Bench top power supplies and/or Hand crimping tool
