Responsive RecruiterRight at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate CNAs to provide companion and personal cares to our clients in Cedar Falls and surrounding areas. Companion care includes light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games. Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises. Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. There is no level of experience or training required as we provide a training and mentoring program to help you be successful.We are looking for a part-time CNA with the availability to work some hours during weekdays and weekends in Waterloo and Cedar Falls Compensation and Benefits for a CNA:Competitive Pay- $18-20/hour depending on the type of client and work setting.Flexible schedules (shifts can be arranged to fit your schedule)Unlimited telehealth visits with TeladocHealth insurance offered after 60 days with a 30-hr work week minimumReferral ProgramSavings/Retirement planNext-Day Pay with TapcheckLyft Emergency Transportation ServiceOngoing paid training and developmentA library of senior care reference materials and resources in the office and online.On-the-job training for unique client situations.Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before!).Paid travel time in between clients and paid mileage.Extremely positive work environment.Access to leadership.Recognition, celebrations, and great team interactions!What you will do as a CNA:Provide light housekeeping, do laundry, make meals.Transport clients to appointments or the store.Assist with personal cares like transfers, toileting, showers, hygiene.Medication reminders, life management.Provide companionship with engaging activities and ensure client safety.Report changes in condition or concerns around the well-being of the client.Delegated nursing tasks like catheter care, medication administration, etc with training by RN.Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocolsRequirements of a CNA:Valid Driver's LicenseCNA certificationMust have own vehicle with proof of adequate car insurance and the ability to travel within our service area which is a 45-minute radius of Waterloo/Cedar Falls- our small town folks need help too!Be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations with or without reasonable accommodationsPass background checkAbility to be reliable and dependableDesire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homesRead, write, speak, and understand English with or without reasonable accommodations as needed for the jobExperience with Hoyer lifts is preferred, though not required—we're happy to train the right candidateWaterloo is locally owned and operated, was established in 2022, and our mission is simple...to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
