Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when requested by unit leadership
• Perform and manage wound care for assigned patients
• Administer and monitor PCA and epidural pain management therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Surgical experience required
• Wound care experience required
• PCA and epidural experience required
• Active Georgia RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience functioning in a charge nurse role
• Familiarity with Med Surg acuity and high-volume hospital environments
