To learn more about Rig Technologies products and services, please visit us at PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the primary FP&A business partner supporting the Repair and U.S. Marine & Construction businesses.Lead the monthly financial close analysis, including detailed actual-to-budget, actual-to-forecast, and prior year variance analysis.Prepare, coordinate, and maintain annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.Develop meaningful financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic business decisions and operational initiatives.Analyze revenue, gross margins, operating expenses, working capital, and profitability trends while providing actionable recommendations to leadership.Partner with operations to identify risks, opportunities, and cost improvement initiatives that enhance financial performance.Prepare and present monthly business reviews, KPI reporting, and executive financial presentations.Support pricing, capital expenditure, and investment analyses through financial modeling and business case development.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operations by streamlining reporting and planning processes.Coordinate accurate revenue recognition and ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and internal controls.Support internal and external audit activities while maintaining SOX compliance.Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and planning.Participate in special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or Financial AnalysisStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reportingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholdersStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of US GAAPExperience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) or other Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) planning and forecasting systems a plusExperience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Oracle Cloud a plusCMA, MBA, or CPA a plusCOMPETITIVE BENEFITS: (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings)401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you investCompetitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
