Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation (IRF) night shift position in Edwardsville, IL, requiring BLS certification and bedside nursing experience.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 34 beds
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit caring for patients with strokes, amputations, TBI, SCI, MVA injuries, orthopedic conditions, trauma, and debility
• Patient ratio of 7:1
• Equipment includes IVs, tube feeding pumps, Hoyer lifts, and wheelchairs/walkers
• EMR systems: Meditech Expanse and UDS Pro Doc
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call or on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Illinois required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of bedside nursing experience required
• Proficiency in basic wound care and medication administration required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Preferred experience includes rehab-specific nursing and IV therapy
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Orientation/first day check-in is at 8:30 AM with the facility educator
• Candidates who have worked permanently at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• Located in Edwardsville, IL — approximately 30 minutes from St. Louis
