Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Machine Set-Up / Tear Down Operator to work with large plastic forming equipment in a custom manufacturing environment. This role involves machine set-ups, changeovers, production runs, troubleshooting, and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down thermoforming and rotational molding machines.
• Install and change tooling and fixtures for custom production runs.
• Load plastic sheets/materials and adjust machines for proper operation.
• Operate production equipment, including CNC and trimming machinery.
• Monitor production and inspect finished parts for quality.
• Troubleshoot issues during start-up and make necessary adjustments.
• Use hand and power tools during machine set-ups and changeovers.
• Read work orders, blueprints, tape measures, and production instructions.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Assist other production or shipping areas as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine set-up/tear-down or related machine operating experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures and perform basic shop math.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Plastic forming, thermoforming, rotational molding, injection molding, or CNC experience is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MACEDONIA, OH.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
