Machine Operator

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Helper assists the Operators in the safe operation of plastic extrusionequipment to produce quality products. Pay: $19.00 Shift: Night Essential Duties and Responsibilities Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures. Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained. Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising Operator of anydeficiencies. Make sure scrap is weighed and recorded daily. Bag bundles and stack. Take reclaim and neatly stack in repro area. Stack blanks in proper storage area. Move finished product to designated areas. Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas. Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise. Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Requirements: Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience. Strong mechanical aptitude. Awareness towards safety. Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently. Able to work overtime and on weekends. Other Requirements: Operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs. Eye/hand coordination. Must be able to routinely work in a "hot room" (up to 110 degrees F at times).
