Quality Auditor

The Role Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Auditor to work out of its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Sidney, NY. Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of all audits (internal, customer, and distribution). The key responsibilities of the Quality Auditor include, but are not limited to: Host customer audits or schedule a host if unavailable Internal audits – issue findings and coordinate CAR issuance, then review/accept responses and issue to customers External audits – issue CARs, then review/accept responses and issue to customers Perform required training resulting from audit findings within Quality, delegating other department training Conduct audits at distributors Conduct or coordinate audits on AAO's behalf at affiliate divisions Keep management updated of audit issues, deadlines and potential crisis areas Responsible to keep the Quality Manual up to date Release quality documents as directed by Quality Engineers and management Maintain internal audit schedules (QMS and weekly audits) Assist in other quality functions as required by management Salary: $50,000- $65,000 Location Sidney, NY 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY The Person The key skills and qualities of a Quality Auditor at Amphenol Aerospace Operations: ISO Auditor certificate preferred, Technical AS Degree or equivalent related job experience Job requires hands on approach Good organizational skills Knowledge of Data 3 and spreadsheet capabilities Communication skills both verbal and written Must be problem solver Some long flights required Must be able to walk and when necessary, carry parts throughout the facility Travel is required, in extreme months as much as fifty percent or more The Company With manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.
