Internal closing date is August 6, 2026.STATUS: Full time/12 months/40 hours per weekREPORTS TO: Warehouse SupervisorPOSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor and Director of Child Nutrition Services, assist with the general warehouse duties, including the loading and delivery of equipment or supplies to specified district sites.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Fill and deliver requisitions for all schools and other district sitesReceive and store Child Nutrition and warehouse supplies in the warehouse, freezer and cooler using the First In, First Out (FIFO) methodTransfer food between kitchensPicks up and delivers furniture and portable equipment between district sitesDeliver new furniture, equipment and supplies to all district sitesKeep warehouse, freezer and cooler clean and in orderSweep and take out trash as neededKeep pallets stacked and discarded cases and supplies safely set asideAssist in taking inventory of warehouse and child nutrition suppliesService (gas and oil) warehouse vehicles, keeps them clean, and reports needed repair to the Warehouse SupervisorTransport deposits from schools to warehouseFollow policies and procedures necessary to comply with HACCP regulationsProcess obsolete equipmentPerform small repairs on equipment and assemble equipmentPerform other duties as assignedESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to formulate tasks and follow through to completion with minimum supervisionAbility to safely and legally operate a motor vehicleAbility to safely bend, twist and lift 50 pounds overheadAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to work outdoors, including in inclement weatherAbility to write and understand verbal and written instructionBASIC REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or G.E.D. preferredPrior experience in a warehouse operation preferredValid driver's licenseEQUIPMENT USED:Outdoor forkliftElectric pallet forkliftElectric pallet walkie high liftLarge box trucks and vansWORK ENVIRONMENT:Within warehouse and child nutrition officesInside and outside of school buildings, including in inclement weatherThis position is very active and requires the physical ability to enable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting throughout each shift
