Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our specialized team. This position involves working with pediatric patients in high-acuity settings, including NICU, PICU, and CVICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric respiratory care and must be prepared to float between multiple locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care for critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures and monitor patients' responses.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results as necessary.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
Qualifications
  • Current Ohio RRT license is required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric care, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
  • Certifications required: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
  • Experience in providing high-level care for patients in level 4 NICUs is essential.
Schedule

This position offers flexible scheduling options, potentially including shifts of 3x12 hours or 4x12 hours.

Additional Requirements
  • Travelers must complete two fingerprinting processes: one onsite as per facility requirements and another through the agency.
  • All work history, including any relevant positions held previously, must be included in the application profile.
  • Copies of all required certifications must be submitted during application.
