Job Details

  • Home daily
  • Local driving position
  • Transport live chickens from farms to a processing facility
  • Flatbed trailer operation
  • Average 3 to 4 inbound loads per day
  • Average 15 to 20 stops per week
  • Consistent routes and freight volumes
  • Dedicated agricultural operation

Equipment

  • Automatic and manual transmission day cab tractors
  • Flatbed trailers

  • Trucks must remain at the account during time off

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
  • Strong safety record
  • Professional and dependable work ethic
  • Comfortable operating in agricultural and farm environments

Special Requirements

  • Drivers are responsible for securing chicken cages using straps and a cheater bar
  • Must ensure all loads are properly secured before transport
  • Farm roads may include uneven terrain, grades, bumps, and ditches
  • Ability to safely perform physical load securement duties
