Electro-Mechanical TechnicianSpartanburg, South Carolina - Posted on September 21, 2026Trillium is hiring Mechatronics Technicians for a leading Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina!Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available Location: Spartanburg, SCIf you enjoy troubleshooting, problem-solving, automation, robotics, and keeping production equipment running, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a high-tech automotive manufacturing environment.You'll support a continuously operating manufacturing facility producing Tier 1 automotive components and work with advanced equipment including PLC-controlled systems, robotics, injection molding machines, extrusion lines, automated work cells, vision systems, power presses, motors, drives, and electrical controls.What You'll Do:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical manufacturing equipmentDiagnose and troubleshoot PLCs, electrical circuits, controls, and automation systemsTroubleshoot and maintain robotics, automated work cells, vision systems, and multi-axis equipmentWork with AC/DC drives and motorsRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsPerform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systemsAssist with new equipment installation, start-up, and improvementsIdentify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production processesRespond quickly to equipment issues to minimize production downtimeSupport a strong safety-first cultureWork independently while knowing when additional technical assistance is neededIf you're a hands-on problem solver who enjoys keeping sophisticated manufacturing equipment running, we want to hear from you!Apply today to be considered for one of our 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Mechatronics Technician opportunities in Spartanburg, SC.What We're Looking For:High school diploma or GED requiredTwo-year technical degree preferred1–3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferredExperience troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical equipmentKnowledge of PLCs, automation, robotics, motors, drives, and electrical controlsAbility to read and understand electrical schematicsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExcellent problem-solving and communication abilitiesAbility to lift 30+ lbs. as neededTrillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
