Safety & Occupational Health Specialist

You will serve as a SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST for the Environmental, Safety and Health (ES/H) Office of the Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Bath, Maine (SSBA) of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH. You will be responsible to the Occupational Safety and Health (OS/H) manager for implementation of health and safety programs for SSBA. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting inspections of ship or industrial workplaces, processes, or products to identify and recommend solutions of potential hazards for compliance in maritime construction and repair facilities. For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting senior specialist with conducting inspections of ship or industrial workplaces, processes, or products to identify and recommend solutions of potential hazards for compliance in maritime construction and repair facilities.
