Senior Technical Program/Project Manager
NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a technology solutions organization to identify a Senior Technical Program/Project Manager in a remote capacity. This role will support enterprise infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives across multiple client environments.
This position is ideal for a senior-level delivery leader who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments and can manage multiple technical initiatives simultaneously. The right candidate is organized, technically credible, and comfortable working directly with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
Required:
- 7+ years managing complex infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology projects/programs
- Strong experience leading VMware-focused initiatives, including migrations, deployments, and upgrades
- Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements in customer-facing environments
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Ability to manage project financials, delivery timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
Preferred:
- VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) upgrade experience
- Background within consulting, professional services, VAR, or MSP environments
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization or datacenter transformation initiatives
- PMP certification or equivalent project leadership background
- Experience mentoring project managers or helping improve delivery processes
