Attorney- Energy & Utilities

Summary Our client, a well established law firm, is seeking an Attorney – Energy & Utilities. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to focus on energy and utility law and work in a collaborative, tight-knit environment. Experience Prior experience in federal or state administrative/regulatory law Experience working with regulated industries, including electric, natural gas, and water utilities Judicial clerkship experience is a plus Exposure to energy transition matters, such as renewable energy, decarbonized fuels, or clean energy mandates, is desirable Regulatory and compliance expertise in energy, utilities, or telecommunications Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of FERC, PUC, or other energy regulatory agencies preferred Team-oriented mindset and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and pro bono work Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Member in good standing of a state bar (or eligible for admission) Strong writing, research, and analytical skills Demonstrated professionalism and academic excellence Work Model Hybrid: minimum of 3 days/week in the office Relocation Assistance Up to $10,000 reimbursement for attorneys relocating to Portland Benefits Competitive salary + discretionary yearly merit bonus Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing 4 weeks PTO annually + 10 paid holidays Paid parental leave (supplemented based on years of service) Monthly cell phone stipend Quarterly transportation stipend #J-18808-Ljbffr SupportFinity™
