Loan Officer

The Loan Officer is a full‑time, outside‑sales role responsible for sourcing and developing relationships to generate new business. Candidates will meet with prospective customers, brokers, agents, and other referral sources to evaluate financial information, advise on mortgage product options, and facilitate loan applications and approvals. Responsibilities Support the company's growth through outside sales activities and lead generation. Travel to homebuilding communities, realtor offices, and other locations at least weekly to solicit new business. Conduct first‑time homebuyer seminars to generate leads and build relationships with new home consultants and prospective customers. Participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, and special events to maintain relationships and provide customer service. Meet with prospective customers to explain Lennar's offerings, obtain loan applications and required documents, and attend closings. Review leads daily and contact prospects via telephone and email to schedule in‑person or virtual meetings. Originate and prepare new loans in accordance with the Loan Officer agreement and the products and policies manual. Advise customers on mortgage loan products tailored to their needs and lock rates within policies and procedures. Provide assistance to new home consultants with pre‑qualifications and maintain a pipeline for outside sales. Achieve or exceed loan capture rate and other sales goals set by the division manager. Maintain reports and notes in the origination system to document loan application, status, communications, underwriting, lock information, projected closings, incentives, and expenses. Qualifications Four‑year college degree (preferred). At least three years of loan‑originating experience. Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. NMLS license required or willingness to obtain.
