We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and accounts payable operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Accounts Payable Specialist will review and process invoices, resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and help ensure payments are handled efficiently and according to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Process both Purchase Order (PO) and Non-Purchase Order (Non-PO) invoices.
• Route invoices for appropriate approvals and processing.
• Identify and research invoice discrepancies, missing information, or documentation issues.
• Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining strong accuracy.
• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding invoice questions or discrepancies.
• Follow established AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with general accounts payable functions and administrative tasks as needed.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, and service expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous Accounts Payable, invoice processing, or related accounting experience preferred.
• Experience working with PO and Non-PO invoices is a plus.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and problem-solve effectively.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
