Key Responsibilities For The Accountant:

Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations, payroll entries, and general ledger transactions. Perform bank reconciliations and support monthly and year-end close processes. Assist with financial reporting, audit schedules, tax filings, and supporting documentation. Maintain accounting records and reconciliations for affiliated entities and impact investing activities. Calculate management fees, interest income, and investment-related accounting adjustments. Identify process improvement opportunities and support accounting automation initiatives.

Qualifications For The Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Knowledge of nonprofit accounting preferred. Understanding of fund, investment, consolidation, or corporate accounting principles. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
