Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centers TITAN has an immediate opening with a client partner, and the position requires working in their Canonsburg, PA office five days per week. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the office. Office locations include: Overland Park, KS, Ann Arbor, MI, Bloomington, MN, Canonsburg, PA, Cary, NC, Dallas, TX, Darien, IL, Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Orlando, FL, Phoenix, AZ, Portland, OR The ideal candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD/Revit/BIM and have an ability and interest to engage in a variety of responsibilities to ensure we safely delivery projects that meet or exceed client expectations. To do so effectively, candidates must be able to problem solve and deal with ambiguous scopes to provide clients with flexible solutions on a fast-paced schedule. Additionally, a successful candidate must possess professional written and verbal communication skills as this role will interact directly with our clients, which include many of the top companies within the Data Center industry. 1. Lead efforts to deliver detailed design of large-scale data center environments while following all company, client and project design; may involve leading teams dedicated to these design 2. Work closely with engineering project teams and field personnel to complete and review projects on scope, budget and schedule. Incorporate schedules, budgets and project criteria into physical design and layouts. 3. Possess a willingness to function in multiple job roles simultaneously. 4. Provide guidance and insight into design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency. 5. Conducts field surveys, drawings, and other data to assess conditions of existing facilities and develop summary reports. 6. Prepare and/or review technical drawings to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements. 7. Review drawing and modeling production work, including problem analysis. 8. Provide guidance to ensure that designs comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. 9. Compiles data and creates engineering studies and reports. 10. Perform detailed calculations as needed by the project. 11. Mentor, provide guidance, and supervise junior-level engineers and designers. 12. Provides training for other technical personnel. 13. Coordinate with internal and external clients to determine proper requirements for projects. 14. Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are imperative to success in this position. Preferred Qualifications 1. Previous experience within Data Centers. 2. Demonstrated understand of design risk factors for redundancy and resiliency. 3. Understanding of design differences in hyper-scale, edge, and colocation data centers. 4. Possesses a proficiency in 3D modeling as well as managing and creating complex families with custom parameters within Autodesk Revit. 5. Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems. 6. Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit 7. Experience utilizing BIM 360, Navisworks, Revit work sets, view templates and project phasing. 8. Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. 9. Self-motivated to deliver results when given a deadline. 10. Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously. 11. Demonstrated ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics to challenge current assumptions. 12. Sound, professional communication skills to engage in client-facing activities. 13. Ability to lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing. 14. Support business development, including developing scope-of-work, level-of-effort, and site visits to understand the scope of the pursuit. 15. Strong leaderships skills, with desire to train and develop early career and/or inexperienced professionals. Skills: Minimum of 11 years related work experience. Most positions - depending on the nature of work performed as defined by the division - will typically require incumbents to have professional registration or licensure in their designated home office country, or be in active pursuit. Travel: Some travel will be necessary to client locations. Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
