The City of Oakdale is currently accepting applications for the position of Mechanic. We are seeking an experienced mechanic who takes pride in their craft and is looking for an opportunity to grow alongside a progressive and expanding organization. This position is based out of the City's new Public Works facility, which includes a dedicated mechanic work area designed to support efficient and safe maintenance operations. Under general supervision, this position performs work in the maintenance, servicing, and repair of automotive, truck, and other mechanical equipment, including preventive maintenance and general overhaul work on gasoline and diesel engines and electrical equipment on a variety of City-owned equipment.
