About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Global Marketing and Communications to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for its global business. The successful candidate will be responsible for both internal and external marketing, with a focus on elevating the organization's global marketing strategy and execution. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in marketing, particularly in the technology or life sciences sectors, and a proven track record in B2B marketing. The VP will be expected to challenge the status quo, bring in new ideas, and ensure that the company's marketing practices are in line with the best in the industry. A key aspect of the role is to be the driving force behind the organization's digital footprint and multichannel marketing, with a fresh approach to engaging the commercial team and customers. Applicants for the VP of Global Marketing position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus) and a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into effective marketing strategies, and a hands-on leader who can manage a global team and drive accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, particularly in the US market, and experience in designing innovative marketing and communication strategies, including digital approaches. The VP will also be responsible for leading a central Business Value Stream function and must be adept at building and leading strong teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring the company's marketing efforts maintain a strong and differentiated position in the market.
