Read on and apply today!What you will do:Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to guide fabrication workLay out, measure, and fabricate steel components according to exact specificationsPerform MIG welding as the primary method; use TIG or Stick welding as needed for specific tasksOperate shop equipment (overhead crane)Inspect welds and finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and durability requirementsIdentify potential hazards and apply appropriate protections to materials and the work area before welding or grindingShow up on time and ready to workMinimum Qualifications:1+ years of experience in steel or metal fabricationProficient in MIG weldingAbility to read and understand shop drawings and specificationsAttention to detail and commitment to qualityStand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours/day)Reliable attendanceHigh school diploma or equivalentMIG welding certification requiredWorking ConditionsIndoor shop environment with fabrication work in progress throughout the dayExposure to noise, paint fumes, sparks, and moving equipmentMonday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMPre-Employment RequirementsMust pass a criminal background checkMust pass a drug screeningWhat we offer:Paid Time Off and eight holidays100% employer-paid medical100% employer-paid life, short- and long-term disability, and AD&D insuranceDental and Vision Insurance401(k) retirement planA casual and fun work environment and much more!
