Travel RN - Med/Surg/Oncology - Night Shift

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description: The Blood Cancer Unit is seeking a dedicated Travel RN with experience in Med/Surg or Oncology to join our team. Our unit boasts an environment focused on quality care, with a commitment to patient-centered practices. Ideal candidates will have the skills to manage complex oncological cases and provide compassionate care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Med/Surg/Oncology unit.
• Administer medications and perform procedures associated with oncology care.
• Monitor patient conditions and assess for complications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license with at least 1 year of acute care oncology experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemo and biotherapy certification preferred.
• Compassion for oncology patients and experience with chronic care.
