Laboratory Supervisor

We are a leading-edge laboratory testing company currently seeking a LaboratorySupervisor to join our team in Dallas, TX. Job Description Managing technical testing departments in a high volume reference laboratory. Processes quality control, and overall production operation of the immunoassay department testing TSH, Hepatitis, HIV, Tumor Makers, and other immunoassay/serology tests. will assign, oversee, and review the quality of employee work, direct all phases of work, quality, service, and costs, and perform testing and special projects as required Supervision of staff of 15 FTEs---Assigns, oversees, and reviews the work of employees Directs all phases of work, quality, service, and costs; and performs tests or assays as required. Operation of the immunoassay department Must be accountable and able to work with tenured staff Qualifications Requires a B.S. /B.A. Degree w/1-3 years of supervisory experience Must meet all State & Local licensing requirements Ideal candidate is a Medical Technologist (MT) with ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification or has equivocal experience with a 4 year degree Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S and ISO is a plus Background in Immunology is a plus!
