Engineering Technician

Location : Denver, CO Work Setting : Full-time, Monday-Friday, with occasional evening, weekend, and overtime work depending on project needs. This is a field-based role supporting project sites throughout the Denver metro area. Most project sites are generally within about 40 miles of Denver, and assignments may change daily or remain consistent for a few weeks depending on the project. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is required. Compensation : $18.00 to $38.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, certifications, education, and overall qualifications. Candidates with no prior industry experience are typically targeted around $21/hour, with flexibility for stronger candidates based on qualifications and certification potential. Company Vehicle: A company vehicle is provided for field assignments and is typically taken home by employees. The vehicle is intended for work-related travel. As an Engineering Technician, you will perform field and laboratory observations, testing, inspections, and documentation on a variety of construction and engineering projects throughout the Denver area. In this role, you will conduct site observations, perform field testing, collect and transport samples for laboratory analysis, and prepare detailed reports documenting project findings. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, and other field personnel to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met. Responsibilities also include maintaining testing equipment, troubleshooting field challenges, and supporting project teams as needed. • Preferred: Industry certifications related to construction materials testing, soils, concrete, or geotechnical services Engineering Technician II Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of relevant construction testing, inspection, or engineering support experience
• Minimum of two applicable industry certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Geology may be considered in lieu of some experience and certifications Engineering Technician III Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years of relevant construction testing, inspection, or engineering support experience
• Minimum of three applicable industry certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field may be considered in lieu of some experience and certifications Key Competencies:
