### Assignment Details \n

• Start Date: December 1 or 2, 2026, for orientation

• End Date: Ongoing
\n
• Commitment: One to two weeks per month with weekend availability
\n
• Setting: Inpatient
\n
• Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours with beeper call
\n
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
\n
• Callback Rate: Approximately 10‚Äì20%
\n
• Cases: Approximately 5‚Äì8 per shift
\n
• EMR: Cerner
\n
• Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
\n
• Temporary Privileges: Available
\n
• Hospital Privileges: Required
### Initial Coverage Dates \n
• December 1 or 2: Orientation

• December 3‚Äì4: 7:00 AM‚Äì5:00 PM

• December 7‚Äì11: 7:00 AM‚Äì5:00 PM, with two available nights of call
\n
• December 12‚Äì13: 24-hour beeper call, 7:00 AM‚Äì7:00 AM
\n
• December 20: 24-hour beeper call, 7:00 AM‚Äì7:00 AM
\n
• December 21‚Äì24: 7:00 AM‚Äì5:00 PM with beeper call from 5:00 PM‚Äì7:00 AM

• December 26: 24-hour beeper call

### Requirements \n
• Board-certified Anesthesiologist
\n
• Cardiac anesthesia experience
\n
• Basic or advanced TEE certification
\n
• Documentation of approximately 30‚Äì40 TEEs performed within the past year
\n
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
\n
• Current arterial- and central-line placement experience
\n
• Regional-block experience
\n
• Ability to cover general anesthesia when no cardiac cases are scheduled
\n
• Collegial and flexible practice style
\n
• No open or pending malpractice cases
### Preferred \n
• Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship training
\n
• CRNA supervision experience
### Clinical Details \n
• Approximately 80% structural-heart cases
\n
• Approximately 20% pump cases
\n
• Approximately 80% solo cases
\n
• 16 operating rooms
\n
• Level II trauma environment
\n
• Additional required experience includes:
- Adult and trauma anesthesia - Open-heart and thoracic anesthesia - Complex vascular and orthopedic cases - Spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia - OB and neurosurgical cases - Ventilator and acute volume/blood-pressure management - Arterial, central, and pulmonary artery catheter placement\n
• No teaching responsibilities
