This new dental area has state of the art equipment to assist you in your care needs for our patients. You can make a difference in this practice, and you will have the support of the entire dental team to aide in your ongoing success.Job Responsibilities:Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients utilizing the Dental Department.Ensures that dental care is completely and adequately documented in the dental record.Provides emergency care as needed.Assists in the supervision and provides direction for dental hygienists, and dental assistants; ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws concerning use of dental auxiliaries.Consults with Dental Director to assess that facility design and adequate equipment are in place to provide optimal and efficient patient care.Assists in formulating the annual health care plan for the center and the community.Monitors the health care needs of the patient population and the community and takes action to satisfy said needs. Participates in community health projects, when appropriate.Provides health education to community organizations and/or in the health center, when needed.Maintains active liaison with local health agencies, dental societies, and social service providers.Qualifications/Skills:Graduation from an accredited School of Dentistry with a Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental MedicinePossession of a license to practice dentistry in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the ability to secure a license.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds.Excellent customer service skillsAbility to maintain patient confidentiality.General computer proficiencyDemonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability.QualificationsCornerstone Care is a Non-Profit, Federally Qualified Health Center with 14 locations and a mobile unit, serving communities throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia.
