Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events
• Support students with hearing impairments by ensuring accurate translation of educational material and verbal communication
• Collaborate with teachers, audiologists, and support staff to create inclusive learning experiences
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Travel as needed to multiple school locations within the Spokane, WA area to fulfill assignment requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language with proven interpreting experience in educational settings
• Certification from a recognized interpreter credentialing organization preferred
