We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Tree Specialist / CDL A Driver to join our team. This role combines professional tree care services with commercial driving responsibilities , including transporting equipment, debris, and materials to and from job sites. The ideal candidate has experience in tree trimming, removal, and maintenance , along with a valid CDL Class A or B license .

 

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CDL Class A vehicles (dump trucks, chip trucks, trailers) safely and efficiently
• Perform tree trimming, pruning, removal, and stump grinding
• Use and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, bucket trucks, and climbing gear
• Load, transport, and unload tree debris, logs, and equipment
• Follow all DOT regulations , traffic laws, and company safety policies
• Assist with rigging, climbing, and aerial lift operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain clean and organized job sites
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

 

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B license (require
• Previous experience in tree care, arborist work, landscaping, or forestry preferred
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and safety procedures is a plus
• Strong physical stamina; ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions
• Climbing experience or willingness to learn is a plus
