Job Title: Machine Technician
Job Description

As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, troubleshooting, adjusting, and performing basic maintenance on equipment as required. You will perform tooling changeovers, repetitive loading and unloading of equipment, and ensure that products are produced according to specifications by reviewing work orders. You will verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work-pieces.

Responsibilities

• Observe machine operations and monitor feed and speed rates.
• Take measurements and detect malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot processes and adjust/reprogram controls.
• Sharpen and replace worn tools.
• Perform basic machine maintenance.
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Assist in production line changeovers.
• Communicate maintenance and production issues to supervisor.
• Maintain and clean work area.

• Ability to resolve molding defects
• Knowledge of thermoplastics, resins, and polymers
• Capability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with measuring tools for quality control

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment that can be loud at times. While big fans are present, it can get warm during the summer months.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cope, SC.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cope,SC.
