Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions. Purpose of the role As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials and equipment on a competitive basis in line with project specifications, business requirements, and established procurement practices. You will identify, evaluate, and select reliable sources of supply for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring that purchasing activities support project objectives and meet Worley's and our customers' expectations. You will also contribute to a collaborative working environment by sharing technical guidance, supporting colleagues, and helping maintain consistent, effective procurement practices. Core Responsibilities Manage purchasing activities: Execute purchasing activities for engineered and non-engineered materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements, approved procedures, and Company policies. Maintain accurate procurement records: Ensure purchasing documentation, supplier quotations, commercial evaluations, purchase orders, and relevant correspondence are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with established processes. Apply procurement systems and procedures: Use relevant purchasing systems, tools, and workflows effectively, troubleshoot routine issues, and support consistent application of procurement processes across assignments. Collaborative and inclusive: You will work effectively with colleagues across functions and locations, value different perspectives, and contribute to a culture where people share knowledge and work toward common goals.
