As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining a consistent visual identity across a wide range of marketing and corporate communications. Working closely with marketing leaders and management, you will transform business objectives into compelling, high-quality creative assets that strengthen brand recognition and engagement. You will lead design projects across digital, print, and video formats, ensuring that every deliverable aligns with established brand guidelines while introducing thoughtful visual improvements. Your work will support ongoing marketing initiatives, corporate presentations, events, internal communications, and seasonal campaigns. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced designer who combines creative vision with strong execution skills and the ability to work independently. The role offers a fully remote, long-term contract arrangement with a flexible, part-time workload and occasional increases in demand during peak periods. Accountabilities

• Brand Development and Visual Consistency: Maintain, apply, and thoughtfully evolve existing brand guidelines and visual frameworks. Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all creative deliverables while identifying opportunities to modernize visual elements without compromising brand recognition.
• Multichannel Graphic Design: Create high-quality visual assets across digital, print, and video formats, including marketing materials, event collateral, corporate presentations, internal communications, and campaign content.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with marketing leadership and management to understand project objectives, interpret creative briefs, incorporate feedback, and recommend effective design solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Design Asset Preparation and Handoff: Prepare and package creative assets for web development, including layouts, specifications, visual references, and implementation guidance to facilitate accurate and efficient execution.
• Campaign and Seasonal Support: Provide additional design capacity for seasonal initiatives, marketing campaigns, and periods of increased demand, adapting priorities and timelines as needed.
• Quality Assurance and Final Delivery: Review design work to ensure accuracy, visual consistency, technical readiness, and adherence to established brand standards before delivery.
• Independent Project Management: Manage design requests, organize workloads, communicate progress, and deliver projects reliably within an approximately 15–20-hour monthly commitment.
• Continuous Creative Improvement: Recommend refinements to existing visual systems, workflows, and creative approaches to improve the effectiveness and consistency of marketing communications.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Demonstrated senior-level graphic design experience, with strong end-to-end execution skills and a portfolio showcasing relevant, recent projects across multiple design formats.
• Multichannel Design Expertise: Proven experience creating visual content for digital, print, and video applications, with the ability to adapt design concepts to different formats, audiences, and communication objectives.
• Brand Management: Strong understanding of brand identity systems, visual frameworks, and design guidelines, including the ability to maintain consistency while introducing thoughtful improvements.
• Creative Judgment and Strategic Thinking: Ability to interpret direction from marketing leadership, make informed design decisions, and provide creative recommendations that support business and communication goals.
• Technical Design Skills: Proficiency with professional graphic design tools and the ability to prepare polished, production-ready creative assets. Experience with Figma, particularly for preparing layouts and packaging assets for developer handoff, is an advantage.
• Additional Creative Capabilities: Experience creating 3D graphics or video content is desirable. Familiarity with Canva is also beneficial.
• Corporate and B2B Experience: Previous experience working in a corporate, business-to-business, or professional services environment is an asset.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing teams, management, and other stakeholders while responding constructively to feedback.
• Organization and Autonomy: Excellent time management, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests independently, remain responsive, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Availability and Location: Must be based in North America, with availability during Eastern Time working hours. Candidates must be able to accommodate an estimated 15–20 hours of work per month, with flexibility for occasional seasonal increases.
• Portfolio Requirement: Applicants must provide a professional portfolio and a short list of recent, relevant projects demonstrating their design capabilities and experience.

• Competitive Hourly Compensation: Estimated rate of CAD $54–$66 per hour for positions performed in Ontario and British Columbia. Actual compensation may vary according to location, experience, expertise, and other relevant factors.
