We are seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience in leading a team in the Enterprise Architecture space, specializing in enterprise architecture, and full lifecycle implementations. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of evaluating technologies and integrating them into operations, overseeing architecture roadmaps, budgets, and headcounts, and leading high-performing teams. Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive strategic road mapping, planning and development are essential. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology or a related field is required, with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification. This is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

Vice President of Enterprise Architecture Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership around defined core technologies necessary to meet franchise, client and associate needs including development tools and methodologies, package solutions, systems architecture, security techniques, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with the business to solve the architectural strategy and execution for our organization.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural principles, a proven track record of successful project delivery, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of architects and engineers.
• You will be responsible for defining the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving the implementation of innovative solutions.
• You will work closely with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our architectural practices are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Your role will involve evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, designing high-level frameworks, and providing technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• You will also be responsible for maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance, and security, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architecture.
• Develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints.
• Develop and maintain an aspirational architectural road map for the enterprise.
• Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
• Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide architectural direction to Enterprise Architects, Business Architects and Solution Architects.
• Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business and IT management.
• Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement, leading Architecture practice and the adoption of supporting methodologies.
• Lead initiatives to identify and implement cutting-edge technologies that drive competitive advantage.
• Conduct ongoing research and analysis of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Evaluate potential technology partners and solutions to enhance business capabilities.
• Collaborate with business units during the project intake process to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and objectives.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Ensure that the technology strategy aligns with the overall business vision and goals.
• Develop and communicate a clear technology roadmap that supports business priorities.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to integrate technology considerations into business planning.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on technology investments and priorities.
• Work closely with product management, marketing, and operations teams to align technology initiatives with customer needs and market demands.
• Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure the integrity and security of technology solutions.
• Establish metrics to measure the success and impact of technology initiatives on business outcomes.
• Regularly review and adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback.

Vice President of Enterprise Architecture Qualifications:

• Must have The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.
• Must have a minimum of a BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, or similar.
• Must have 5-10 years leading a team in the Enterprise Architecture space.
• Someone coming from a Fortune 500 company is a plus.
• An onsite interview is required, and the company will pay for you to interview onsite.
