Dog Tag Bakery Part-Time Production Baker
We are looking for a talented and passionate part-time production baker who loves to bake with purpose and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Being a baker at Dog Tag is an empowering experience an opportunity to grow in your career. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in from-scratch baking, as well as some savory experience.
Baker Responsibilities & Duties
- Keep pars/inventory up to date with product they are responsible for.
- Measure ingredients and prepare batters and doughs.
- Help with the preparation of catering and event menus.
- Operate machinery, which includes a sheeter for our logo cookies.
- Bake cookies and macaroons in large quantities.
- Follow directions and recipes correctly.
- Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards, checking for consistent appearance and quality.
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and clean work environment.
- Abide by all Health and Safety standards.
- Highly responsible, punctual, and reliable.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Take initiative and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Work well under pressure.
- Quickly recognize and resolve problems.
- Must be able to multitask effectively.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work Hours, Compensation & Benefits
- Part-time work schedule of 20 to 30 hours per week.
- Open availability for shifts - dependent on orders.
- Starting wage: $18 per hour plus tips.

Education and Experience
- 1+ years of industry baking experience or culinary school equivalent required.
- Experience with from-scratch baking preferred.
